Chickpea and Mango Fruit Salsa

This delicious salsa is full of nutritional fruits and vegetables, and the chickpeas add protein to make it the perfect midday snack. Using a combination of fresh and canned ingredients makes this recipe a snap.
We added mango to this salsa because of its high nutritional value. Based on our research, mangos contain needed antioxidants, are high in fiber, help to alkalize the body, aid in the digestive process, and are even said to help people with diabetes.

- 3 Can Tomatoes and Green Chiles
- 1 Can Green Chiles
- 1 Can Chickpeas
- 1 Can Corn and Pepper Mix
- 1 Avocado
- Juice of ½ Lime
- 1 Mango
- 1 Nectarine
- ½ Red Onion
- 1 or 2 jalapeños depending on your heat preference
- 1 Tbsp Garlic
- Dash of Sea Salt
- Cilantro
- Chop all of the fresh ingredients and place in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the lime, garlic, and sea salt in with the fresh ingredients.
- Open all the canned items and mix into the fresh ingredients in the bowl.
- Serve as a snack or side dish.
- Refrigerate unused salsa in an airtight container.
