Typical store-bought Thousand Island Dressings average around 350 mg of sodium in just 2 tablespoons. Our delicious recipe takes only minutes to make and 2 tablespoons only contain approximately 50 mg of sodium. Creamy, with a sweet and tangy flavor combination, this dressing is perfect on salads, sandwiches, burgers, and so much more!
- ¾ cups Plain Yogurt*
- 3 tbsp Heinz No Salt Tomato Ketchup
- 2 tsp white onion, finely chopped
- 5 tsp Mt. Olive Reduced Sodium Sweet Relish
- 1 tsp White Vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch of pepper
- Finely chop your onions and drain on a paper towel.
- Measure yogurt into a mixing bowl.
- Add onions, pickle relish, vinegar, pepper, ketchup, and sugar to the yogurt.
- Stir thoroughly to mix all ingredients and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
- Store unused dressing in an air tight container (mason jars work great) in the refrigerator.**
