Red, White, and Blue Strawberries
It’s almost Labor Day which means vacation, picnics, and barbecues! We love having friends over for Labor Day because the kids swim in the pool and we can enjoy a fun afternoon of eating and hanging out with friends.
We did a patriotic themed party for my parent’s 60th birthday because both of their birthdays landed in the summer. We had a lot of yummy food, snacks, and desserts, all with a little patriotic twist. My favorite dessert was our red, white, and blue strawberries.
These were SO easy to make. I would suggest making them ahead of time. My brother’s girlfriend and I made them the night before the party so it gave the white chocolate time to harden. We cleared a shelf in the refrigerator which gave us room to put wax paper down and then once we made the red, white, and blue strawberries, we just placed them on the wax paper in the refrigerator and let them harden overnight.
Juicy, luscious strawberries are dipped in melted white chocolate, then dipped in blue sprinkles for a fun patriotic dessert that’s as simple to make as it is delightful to eat. Ingredients Instructions Notes Home Chef Tip: I would give the strawberries plenty of time to harden in the refrigerator. If you can prepare them the night before and then give them all night to harden, that would be best.
Overall this is a simple recipe, but it is festive and fun for those Labor Day parties!
